Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Track recent trainees' performance in the marketplace to analyze key traits for incorporation into recruitment pipelines.
- Identify and attract qualified overhead garage door service technicians through various channels including online job boards, social media, industry networks, and career fairs.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain a robust database of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Promote OGD’s brand and values to attract top talent, leveraging social media and other marketing channels.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional interactions.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in full cycle recruitment, preferably within the technical or service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficient in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
