We provide an inclusive, supportive and safe environment in which campers explore fun, challenging and educational experiences, learn from positive role models, and have the opportunity to build skills for life year after year. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Staff to join our team from June-August. As a Kitchen Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering quality food to our camp community of around 100 people. Duties:
- Daily preparation and cooking of food for camp community of around 100
- Following the menu and requirements for the Summer Food Service Program.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Handle food safely and adhere to food safety standards
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties
Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food industry
- Serve Safe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain the certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
