Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Overview
Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced, team based environment with a joyful spirit. After all, you will be a brand ambassador for our company helping to spread cheer and engage with customers to serve delicious ice cream to all those that walk through our doors! You'll walk customers through our menu and our ice cream flavors to help guide them in choosing their favorite flavors. Consider yourself a true ice cream enthusiast!

Duties

• Serve ice cream and other frozen treats to customers with a smile.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scooping area.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards at all times.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell additional products.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean café environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or grocery store settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
