Duties/Responsibilities:
- Generates sales to customers for Generator Industry parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on all generator makes and models.
- Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations.
- Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
- Attending and working industry tradeshows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
- Create and implement strategies for generator service and rental growth.
- Work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
- Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
- Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports.
- Responsible for the North Carolina Territory
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Excellent communication skills and customer service driven skills
- Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers.
- Incumbent must have a valid driver?s license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
- Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations.
- Knowledge of standby and portable generators
Education and Experience:
- High School Education or GED equivalent
- Sales experience preferred.
