Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Infant Teacher will implement engaging curriculum activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and discovery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote childhood development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Assess student progress through observation and standardized testing methods to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Provide care for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
- Incorporate various daily activities while using Creative Curriculum.
- Assist in physical education activities that encourage motor skills development and healthy habits.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment as well as accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with other educators in curriculum development to enhance the learning experience.
- Feeding, diapering, potty training
- Record keeping for diapering, feeding and all milestones.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age and is experienced in working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Caregivers shall have had training specifically related to infant/toddler development.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles is essential.
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Strong understanding of young children, and concepts suitable for preschool-aged children are beneficial.
- CDA Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
