Overview
Bazooka Candy Brands (BCB), the Confectionery division of The Bazooka Companies, Inc., is seeking an Associate Brand Manager for our New York City headquarters.
With iconic brands including Ring Pop®, Push Pop®, Bazooka® Bubblegum, & Juicy Drop®, BCB is one of the leading manufacturers & innovators of non-chocolate confections in the US.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Brand Manager reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, you will make a tangible contribution to BCB with the following job responsibilities on the Ring Pop, Baby Bottle Pop and Finders Keepers brands:
- Lead and execute annual business plans to ensure efficient & effective use of resources
- Contribute to creating the brand vision & strategy for assigned brands
- Manage key agency relationships and integrated marketing plans strategy and execution for assigned brands
- Assist the Senior Director in driving the assigned businesses to meet revenue & profit targets
- Work closely with the cross-functional team to commercialize new products
- Partner with both headquarters & field sales force to develop and implement customer marketing programs
- Monitor and analyze business performance (sales and IRI), including developing and recommending action plans
- Manage and mentor a direct report (Associate Brand Manager)

- Strong financial understanding including costing and P&L management
Education/Experience
- 5 years CPG brand management
- Kid-focused, Confectionary, or Snack Food experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
