Cannabis Operations Administrator
Location: Downtown St Louis, Missouri

As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Operations Administrator with experience in both cannabis and operations management to help build our operation from the ground up. Position Overview: The Operations Administrator will play a critical role in establishing and managing the day-to-day operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cannabis production and operations management, with a proven track record of success in building and optimizing processes in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and effective leadership to ensure the successful launch and ongoing success of our operation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the strategic vision and goals for the facility.
- Build and manage the operational infrastructure, including facilities, equipment, and systems, to support production and growth objectives.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of operations, including cultivation, extraction, processing, packaging, and distribution.
- Hire, train, and manage a diverse team of employees, including production staff, administrative personnel, and support staff.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Implement quality control measures and monitor production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity throughout the operation.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, agriculture, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in cannabis production and operations management, with a demonstrated track record of success in building and scaling operations.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis cultivation, extraction, processing, and packaging processes and best practices.
- Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of projects.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to cannabis production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
