Job Summary
The Admissions Data Specialist I is responsible for incoming transcript processing, data entry, data cleanup, and running various processes in Peoplesoft Campus Solutions (university information system) and Slate (admissions CRM). The position will be responsible for the timely processing of admissions documentation from student inquiry until full admission to the university. This position will work as event staff for the university’s Graduation and Commencement ceremonies as well as occasional recruitment events (Patriot Premier and Top 25% Celebration).
Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks
- Post and Image incoming transcripts.
- Post and review admissions documents within CRM and other information systems software.
- Manage and run SPEEDE transcript load process.
- Manage shared Admissions Processing email inbox, ensuring all issues and inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist Enrollment Management staff with questions related to Admissions Processing.
- Student data entry and data management.
- Data cleanup as needed.
- Running processes in Peoplesoft Campus Solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
- Associate degree or 60 hours of college credit.
- One (1) year of admissions experience.
- May accept a combination of education and experience.
Accompanying Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Ability to work well with stakeholders across enrollment management to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
