Job Summary

Duties

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.

- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively sell merchandise.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering calls from customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems and basic retail math.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.
