Job Description:
As a Public Areas Attendant at The Nicewonder Inn, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our public areas to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. With at least 1 year of experience, you will demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the appearance of all public areas, including hallways, lobby, reception area, lounges, restrooms, and outdoor spaces, according to established standards and procedures.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust public areas regularly to remove debris and maintain cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and countertops, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene for our guests.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed, disposing of waste in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor and replenish supplies and amenities in public areas, including towels, toiletries, and refreshments, to ensure guest satisfaction and convenience.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages in public areas to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Uphold the Nicewonder Inn's standards of hospitality and service excellence, ensuring that every guest enjoys a clean and comfortable stay.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and procedures.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
