Job Description:
As a Room Attendant at The Nicewonder Inn, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas. With at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, you will demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and countertops, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene for our guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, including hallways, stairwells, and common spaces, to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
- Monitor and replenish supplies and amenities in guest rooms and public areas, including toiletries, towels, and linens, to ensure guest satisfaction and convenience.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Uphold the Nicewonder Inn's standards of hospitality and service excellence, ensuring that every guest enjoys a clean and comfortable stay.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and procedures.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
