What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Network Performance Consultant position at The Virtual Bench?
Our client is looking for a Sr. Network Performance EXPERT for a short-term, part-time contract. This is a fully remote role lasting approximately 2 months with additional support later this year. Oil and Gas industry experience is required. US Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop a comprehensive network architecture, ensure performance requirements are met for real-time data collection, processing, and storage.
- Analyze and select hardware essential for network implementation of a battery powered embedded system, including SWAP-C considerations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate network components with vehicle systems.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability between network hardware and vehicle systems.
- Design robust security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality, specifically NIST and DoD Cyber requirement.
- Required to be CUI Eligible.
- US Citizen.
- Follow on work may require travel to Hanover, MD.
