Job Summary
The Digital Print Operator will maintain and operate printers.
What You’ll Do…
- Daily maintenance of printers
- Set up and operate printers.
- Verify colors by matching customer requirements.
- Verify substrate is as outlined in job packet
- Verify Ink adhesive to substrate
- Record all material usage for printing area.
- Maintain material inventory.
- Color calibration recording (voltage settings, densometer readings and all color proofs).
- Maintain clean working environment
- Practice safe working habits as trained
- Secure help if items to be lifted or carried exceed weights given in the physical requirements section of this job description.
- Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety, quality improvements, better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop cost or employee’s health and safety.
- Do other tasks as assigned
What You’ll Bring…
- Familiarity with Digital Graphics and Software related to Digital Graphics, or Prepress.
- Must be familiar with color measurement.
- Must meet physical requirements as noted in this Job Description.
