Camp Warwick is a Christian ministry of the Reformed Church in America (RCA). Our mission is to remind children that they are created and loved by God who walks with us daily.
Position Purpose:
To further the mission of Camp Warwick and Camp Sunrise through the development and implementation of daily activities that enrich the emotional, spiritual, social, and physical lives of campers and staff.

Position Summary:
A Christian Ministry Camp Program Manager designs and oversees programs that promote spiritual growth, community building, and recreation in alignment with biblical principles. Key responsibilities include developing Christ-centered activities, training and supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. The role involves fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where campers can deepen their faith, build relationships, and experience God’s love through worship, service, and fellowship. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to Christian values are essential to effectively fulfill this mission-driven position.
Qualifications:
- Ability to develop vibrant camp ministries with an attitude of enthusiasm.
- The ability to community network (internal and external) to build relationships and outreach.
- Agrees with Camp Warwick’s philosophy and policies as a faith-based organization.
- Have at least 2 years of previous administrative and supervisory experience with camp.
- Experience youth and children ministry.
- Candidate minimal educational requirement Bachelor’s Degree.
- Highly organized with strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- CPR/AED Certified or willingness to become certified.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter, to work independently, to think creatively and communicate insights and vision to leadership and Board.
- Ability to supervise staff and campers; to build relationships with camp leaders, counselors, volunteers, and parents.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement daily and special programs for all camp sessions.
- Proven track record of staff, camper and conflict management.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of Day Camp and Camp Sunrise.
- Design and implement Camp Snowball.
- Design and implement additional overnight residential camp experiences.
- Design and implement a variety of youth, and family events to promote camps, including the opportunity for tours and other onsite visits.
- Design and implement marketing strategies for camp promotion including camp tours and social media/website presence.
- Oversee the general operation and coordination of all Camp Warwick events including the development and management of budgets.
- Responsible for the recruitment, hire and overall supervision of Day Camp/Camp Sunrise staff following Warwick best practices for hiring.
- Responsible for the recruitment, hire and overall supervision of health directors/nurses staff following Warwick best practices for hiring.
- Responsible for the recruitment and appointment of volunteer staff following Warwick best practices for appointment.
- Plan, organize and implement staff orientation and training for camp programs.
- Organize and order necessary supplies for the camp season including pool and health offices.
- Manage Board of Health compliance.
- Supervise the operation of the pool. Recruit, interview, and hire waterfront director and lifeguards.
- Build continual growth and increase goals to fill camps.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
