Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordinating services for team members across multiple business units in the client account management department.
- Using quoting software to prepare customer and freight quotes for review.
- Entering customer data into CRM and orders into our ERP Syteline
- Monitoring orders throughout the fulfillment process to meet critical deadlines and ensure accuracy.
- Working with cross-functional departments to resolve questions and challenges, elevating as required.
- Coordinating with freight services to ensure timely and accurate shipments to customers:
- Reviewing weekly shipping schedules
- Communicating with on-site contacts as needed
- Using shipment scheduling software to maintain requests for carrier pickups.
- Following up with carriers and on-site personnel post-delivery
- Ability to read visual and spatial concepts such as drawings and blueprints required.
- Propose new ideas to improve efficiency.
- Familiar with or able to learn inventory, ERP, and order management systems.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Have one or more years of customer service experience in any field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to recognize and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Technology savvy
- Prior customer service or project/account management experience preferred but not required.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High school diploma or equivalent required
