DIGITAL DIRECTOR
The Worker Agency works to win campaigns on behalf of our clients committed to changing people’s lives for the better. To help us towards becoming the most impactful advocacy agency in the US, we are looking to hire a digital director who would be a critical component of our external facing support team responsible for taking initiative on key client services. The digital director would be responsible for supporting the development and execution of The Worker Agency’s objectives and scope of services on behalf of our clients. This position performs administrative, strategy, digital, design, and database organizational tasks to support our work with clients.
Role location:
On Site in Berkeley,CA Office: Monday through Thursday
Work From Home: Fridays
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and execute digital strategies to mobilize supporters and drive campaign goals.
- Oversee digital advertising, social media, email campaigns, and online engagement.
- Manage digital organizing tools such as CRM systems, petition platforms, and peer-to-peer texting.
- Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and messaging for online platforms.
- Track and analyze digital campaign performance and optimize for effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally with communications, policy, and field teams to align digital efforts with broader campaign strategies.
- Manage digital budgets, vendor relationships, and partnerships.
- Ensure digital campaigning efforts are inclusive, accessible, and reach diverse audiences.
- Create and manage relationships with content creators, contractors while overseeing content creation projects
- Administrative tasks as needed and other duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills:
- 7-10 year previous experience in digital organizing, advocacy, or electoral campaigning.
- Strong knowledge of digital tools (e.g., Action Network, Mobilize, NGP VAN, EveryAction, NationBuilder, or similar).
- Proficiency in social media strategy (Facebook, X, Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- At least 1 year of experience managing a client team or equivalent
- Experience with email marketing platforms and digital ads (Meta, Google, programmatic, etc.).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored for digital engagement
- Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics, A/B testing, and audience segmentation.
- Familiarity with SEO, web design, or coding (e.g., HTML, CSS).

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
