Wurzak Hotel Group is on the lookout for a dynamic Accounting Manager to join our onsite hotel team at the 221 room full-service DoubleTree Deerfield Beach by Hilton nestled between Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach and within two miles of the stunning East Coast Beaches of Florida.
This is more than just an accounting job - it’s your chance to be a strategic partner and financial backbone of one of our vibrant hotel properties in Sunny South Florida.
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for the hotel:
Lead all day-to-day accounting functions with precision and flair
Own the month-end close process like a boss
Reconcile invoices, bank accounts, and balance sheets Master credit card payments, cash flow, and bank deposits
Fuel smart business decisions with accurate forecasts, budgets & financial insights
Compliance & Financial Controls:
Ensure all payment terms are on point and fully aligned with contracts
Keep us squeaky clean with permits, licenses, and statutory reporting
Champion internal controls and process optimization
Support financial strategy and process improvement:
Work side-by-side with hotel operations to bring accounting processes to life
Help craft and fine-tune Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures
Bring the heat to exec team meetings with insights that move the needle
Drive innovation in finance workflows and system use (think software strategy)
Fundamental qualifications:
You’ve got hotel accounting experience (Hilton brand experience? That’s gold!)
You're an Excel & Outlook pro, with bonus points for knowing M3, Aloha POS, OnQ, or Paychex
You love spotting patterns in data and using them to tell a story
You have a service-first mindset - we’re all about hospitality, after all!
You thrive onsite, collaborating and making things happen in real-time
