The Warehouse Coordinator, reporting to the purchasing agent, holds responsibility for overseeing warehouse operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. This role involves effective communication and collaboration to achieve optimal storage and shipping outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Receive, label, and store incoming materials and supplies in the warehouse.
- Validate received goods against purchase orders.
- Retrieve materials from warehouse inventory for fulfilling orders / requests.
- Manage truck deliveries, including loading and unloading.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to Sales and Systems departments.
- Conduct physical inventories, update database, and rearrange materials as needed.
- Coordinate overall warehouse operations, maintaining a safe and organized facility.
- Receive direct supervision from the purchasing agent.
- Manage inventory of commonly used items in the warehouse.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term warehouse planning.
- Provide assistance in various areas as required.
