Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to play a key role in overseeing hygienic door installations for pharmaceutical and biomedical research facilities worldwide. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, this position will be involved in every phase of the project, ensuring smooth execution from inception to completion.
The Assistant Project Manager will support project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors to maintain project efficiency and compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing multiple projects, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Utilize project management tools, processes, and templates to maintain organization and consistency.
- Develop and submit project documentation, including door schedules and hardware specifications.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress updates effectively.
- Act as a liaison between teams to ensure seamless project execution and information flow.
- Verify that all work complies with technical drawings, regulations, and industry standards.
- Review and interpret project plans, providing input and feedback when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification or formal training in project management.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
- Background in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cost estimation and managing specialized construction scopes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for technical drawings.
- Familiarity with SAP Business One or equivalent project management systems.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
