A busy Outpatient Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy clinic is currently seeking an experienced Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Panama City Beach, FL.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator serves as a valued member of our team and requires good communication and multitasking skills. The right individual must demonstrate the ability to maintain good rapport with the public and all other personnel and clinical staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintain front office day-to-day responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand and articulate information to patients.
- Manage multiple job functions including scheduling, accessing medical records and answering phones.
- The job is patient centered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 1 years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Accuracy in data entry
- Must have computer and research skills
- Must have the ability to work on multiple tasks at once
- Must be detail oriented
- Must work well in a team environment
- Ability to communicate well with public and other personnel in a tactful and courteous manner
- Previous experience in healthcare, fitness or medical industry a plus.
- Knowledge of insurance types, coverage and policies a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
