His vision was that TherapySouth would be a therapist-owned practice, specializing in "hands-on care, close to a patient's home or work". All of our clinics maintain a friendly atmosphere that helps patients feel at home in their surroundings. Having several locations allows patients to conveniently attend physical therapy two to three times per week to improve their daily functions. The Accounting Specialist position is located in our Main Business Office in Greystone.
Essential Functions:
- Enter bank deposit information into billing spreadsheets.
- Receive and submit invoices for payment and approval.
- Process employee expense reimbursements.
- Process payments, print checks, and mail checks.
- Import and key bank transactions into accounting books.
- Record inter-company bank transfers.
- Send various weekly/monthly ACH payments.
- Calculate billing fees.
- Assist Accounting Manager with the annual financial review.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting and/or accounts payable.
- Detail oriented, with great focus on maintaining accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Highschool diploma required.
- Relevant coursework in accounting preferred.
