Dispatcher

Thermal Concepts is looking for a great new Dispatcher to joins its service team!

The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling service calls for the HVAC Service Department. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and prioritize service requests from customers via phone, email, or other communication channels.
• Schedule service appointments and dispatch HVAC technicians to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with technicians to provide relevant job details, including customer information, service requirements, and special instructions.
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments as needed to accommodate urgent service requests or changes in priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, including job status, technician availability, and customer communications.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure seamless workflow and efficient resolution of customer issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance department efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and terminology preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
