Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet all walk-in customers at service counter
- Respond to customer calls and facilitate the scheduling of their work into the shop.
- Ensure customers are regularly updated on the progress of work and provided with an estimated completion date and time.
- Prepare service quotes, estimates, and repair orders for customer approval.
- Coordinate with the service manager to schedule technician jobs.
- Generate billing statements for customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Process customer payments
- Manage and organize office files, documents, and records
- Provide general administrative support to team members as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a service advisor or service writer within a dealership environment
- Proficient in verbal and written communication with customers, employees, and management
- Proficient with dealership business systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Procede Software (DMS) is a plus
- Proficiency in basic Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) skills is highly desirable.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and is committed to working additional hours when necessary
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently
- Normal shift hours are Monday to Friday, from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
