IT Technician
Position Summary: The Information Technology Technician monitors and answers Helpdesk tickets. The IT Technician will utilize their knowledge of Hardware and Software to provide solutions to internal and external customers. This position coordinates priorities with the IT Manager and BPM Manager. This position reports directly to the Director of CEO Office and works closely with the Systems Team.
Role Qualifications:
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player that works effectively and efficiently in a collaborative Team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office applications
• Knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows OS (Mac and Linux helpful)
• Knowledge of basic office hardware (computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, etc.)
• Software and hardware troubleshooting
• IT degree or two years’ experience in related field
• Networking knowledge (wired and wireless)
• Virtualization and/or Cloud hosting
• Mobile device configuration and security
Position Responsibilities:
• Follow Information backup process that adheres to company policy and best practices
• Make suggestions for continuous improvement on Cybersecurity policies and practices
• Maintain asset records
• Assist employees with hardware or software issues
• Order computers and other types of equipment
• Regular documenting and reporting within Helpdesk and other systems
• Other duties as assigned
