Position Description

The Analyst Level 4 will provide advanced analytical support to the project by leading the assessment and reporting efforts for IT-AMS. This position requires strong expertise in understanding complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for system improvements based on data insights.

Required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, or related field
• 10 years of experience in data analysis or similar field
• Experience working with large, complex datasets

• Experience working with UML and API integration
• Desired:
• Masters in Computer Science, or related field
  

Certifications

Required:

Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or CompTIA Data

Desired

ITIL Foundation

Responsibilities

Required:

• Lead efforts to define and measure product performance to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain data models and reporting systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential new use cases
• Provide data analysis and decision making to guide system enhancements
• Assist in ensuring all system features meet federal regulations
  
  

Skills

Required:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Java ecosystem
• Strong proficiency in Postgres, SQL, and ETL process
• Proficiency in Microsoft servers and Azure cloud
• Proficiency in Tableau and creating data visualizations
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional teams in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with federal IT security, compliance requirements and ATO processes
• Strong communication skills that includes explaining technical information to both nontechnical and technical personnel
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Expert in transforming business needs into technical solutions
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
