In this role, you will:
- Review RFPs received from clients
- Create detailed and accurate takeoffs for various concrete construction projects
- Review and analyze project documents to identify risks, materials, and labor requirements
- Solicit bid information from vendors and subcontractors as needed
- Prepare accurate cost estimates
- Write, submit, and follow up on technical bid proposals
- Provide technical support to project teams when needed
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in structural concrete estimating within commercial and industrial markets
- Proficiency in construction estimating software, including Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, and PlanSwift
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and SharePoint
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems or Tekla is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively
