Position Overview:
The Administrative Coordinator provides essential clerical and administrative support to the Dean of the College of Business. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proactive, computer savvy, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively while contributing in a fast-paced academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrative support for the Dean, managing schedules, meetings, and communications.
Organize and coordinate college events, meetings, and special projects to enhance the student and faculty experience.
Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with accuracy and professionalism.
Manage and monitor budgets, process invoices, track expenses, and compile financial reports.
Oversee student workers and graduate assistants, ensuring efficient task delegation and performance.
Maintain and update college records, databases, and spreadsheets for academic initiatives.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for guests and faculty as needed.
Assist with creating and distributing newsletters, award certificates, and recognition materials.
Provide friendly and professional assistance to faculty, students, and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

This position pays $17.00 per hour. 37.5 hour work week Monday - Friday during business hours.
