What You'll Do asl Procurement Logistics Manager
As the Procurement Logistics Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the inventory and logistics of program materials, ensuring efficient ordering, shipping, and delivery to the correct construction sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Process purchase orders for materials and subcontracted labor services.
- Monitor procurement cycles, shipping progress, and material deliveries for all construction solutions.
- Work directly with suppliers to confirm product availability and secure competitive pricing.
- Provide updated pricing and availability information to the Preconstruction Manager and Estimating Team.
- Actively track material costs throughout project lifecycles to ensure alignment with estimated budgets and support margin optimization.
- Maintain and organize all shipping and procurement documentation, ensuring timely and cost-efficient file management.
- Support estimators in applying accurate material costs to project estimates and change orders.
- Assist Project Management and Accounting teams with invoicing accuracy and procurement monitoring.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to manage material delivery schedules and ensure timely on-site arrival.
- Keep the project team informed of any material delays, pricing changes, or availability issues.
- Lead and provide clear direction to procurement coordinators, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Maintain up-to-date project folders, including technical documents, notes, and supplier quotes.
Our Ideal Candidate for Procurement Logistics Manager
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a similar role focused on procurement, logistics, or construction supply chain coordination.
