The Laborer is an entry level position responsible for maintaining clean and orderly grounds, facilities, and rental equipment and assisting customers when needed. Laborers must be able to perform independently under close supervision. The Laborer must be willing to work in all climates and be able to perform physically challenging tasks such as cleaning mud and debris from machines and cleaning the wash pad area. The position requires a basic knowledge of equipment operation including earth moving equipment, lift trucks, aerial equipment, and on-highway trucks. The Laborer will demonstrate initiative, commitment to team work, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Basic safe machine operation
- Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures
- Performs shop and yard clean-up as required
- Operates wash rack equipment and properly cleans equipment as required
- Keeps accurate records of all work
- Assists customers and Company personnel on the yard
