Parts Counter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Counter professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with their parts needs, and ensuring efficient operations at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in parts sales, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure availability of parts.
• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their equipment.
• Operate cash register and POS systems to process transactions efficiently.
• Utilize a computer for tracking inventory data and generating reports as needed.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive market rates.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs.
• Stay updated on new products and industry trends to better serve customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in a part sales or service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes is essential.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain positive supplier relationships are highly valued.
• Proficiency in using cash registers, POS systems, and computers is required.
