AP & AR Supervisor

AR & AP Supervisor w/ Intl. MFG Org.

Our client, a world-renowned manufacturing company, is looking to hire a dynamic Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Supervisor that will lead and mentor the AR & AP team and will ensure the accurate processing, compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data. This individual will develop and implement policies & procedures and analyze trends within the AR & AP department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage AR & AP within the business unit and develop accounting staff to meet team targets, along with reviewing industry trends for updates.
• Manage accuracy in reporting and compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)and other accounting policies.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of AP & AR subledgers and ensures compliance and alignment with company policies.
• Conduct analysis of accounting systems and procedures inclusive of problem diagnosis and corrective action recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reviews, budgets, forecasts, and analysis.
• Participate, coordinate and review month-end and year end closings and governmental reports and forms submittal as assigned.
• Train, develop, assist and instruct subordinate employees according to company policy and sound employee relations.

Position Requirements:

• 5 years of account receivable and accounts payable experience and 3 years of manufacturing experience (must have).
• Thorough understanding and experience of standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
• Experience in accounts payable and receivable processing in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience desired.
• Bachelor s degree in accounting or equivalent field of study is required.
