Pipe Layer (sewer, water, and storm drain)

Thornton Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewer, water, and storm drain installation, with the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. This is a hands-on position with opportunities for career growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install sewer, water, and storm drain pipelines according to project specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment as required for pipe installation and related tasks.
• Perform general labor duties, including site preparation and cleanup.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a pipe layer in sewer, water, and storm drain installation.
• Skills: Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or similar machinery.
• Work Ethic: Strong willingness to work hard and contribute to a team environment.
• Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

• utility construction: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
