Thorpe Landscapes of Asheville is a full service landscape firm which currently has openings for a landscape account manager/sales. We are rapidly expanding and are looking for top notch individual to join our team!

Who do we work for and what do we do?
- We work with commercial and custom home builders in the area to site prep, install drainage, and finish landscape their communities & homes
- Our group installs retaining walls, boulder walls, patios, walkways, driveways, outdoor kitchens, artificial turf, etc
- Service commercial maintenance properties
- Erosion control
- Stream restoration
What Equipment do we operate?
- 85U Hitachi excavator
- 50U Hitachi excavator
- T590 Bobcat skid steers
- T64 Bobcat skid steer
- MT100 mini skid steers
- Gravely mowers (stand-up & sit down) as well as a walk behind
- various heavy equipment attachments
What is a general list of job responsibilities?
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively address client needs, concerns, and feedback.
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with management, designer, and crew to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Communicate project progress and updates to clients regularly.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Prepare and present estimates and contracts to clients.
- Maintain an understanding of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Financial Oversight:
- Assist in preparing project budgets and cost estimates prior to starting
- Ensure timely invoicing and work with bookkeeper
- Monitor financial performance of projects to meet profitability goals.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds company standards and client expectations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality of workmanship.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations and field teams to align on project goals.
Provide insights and feedback to improve processes and client experiences.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Ability to Commute:
- Asheville, NC (Required)
