Job Description
As a Water Management Technician with Three Affiliated Tribes, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our wastewater systems. Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing weekly inspections and maintenance of wastewater facilities
* Conducting regular maintenance and repairs on wastewater systems and their facilities
* Recording all inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with U.S. EPA Region 8 standards
* Collecting, storing, and delivering wastewater effluent for testing
* Responding to emergency situations and breakdowns of wastewater systems and facilities
* Operating, maintaining, and repairing department vehicles and heavy equipment
* Maintaining and repairing department facilities
* Loading vehicles with bulk water for delivery
* Delivering bulk water to various homesites
* Cleaning and disposing of septic tank sewage at various homesites
* Ensuring a safe work environment and meeting safety standards
* Working towards obtaining certifications in wastewater collection and treatment
* Maintaining open communication with the immediate supervisor and department director
