What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Technician position at Three Rivers Park District?

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill a Park Technician position at French Regional Park in Plymouth, MN. Additionally, we will be creating a 9-month eligibility list in which future vacancies at various park locations will be filled.

The Park Technician position is responsible for performing technical park maintenance tasks and equipment operation, under minimum supervision, in the operation and maintenance of Park District facilities and properties in a manner that will assure a safe and clean recreational environment consistent with Park District standards.

STARTING RANGE: $28.68 - $33.59/hour, depending on qualifications.
FULL WAGE RANGE: $28.68 - $36.36/hour

High school graduate or GED AND two-year related degree or training OR two years of park maintenance, landscape, or related experience, of which one year includes operation of park maintenance related specialized or heavy equipment; OR any combination of education and experience equivalent to the above. Valid Class A Minnesota Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Current Minnesota Noncommercial Pesticide Applicator's license required upon appointment.
