As our Inside Sales Director, you’ll own and lead the entire direct-to-consumer sales function. You’ll build and scale a high-performing inside sales team, define the strategy, and drive revenue growth through data-driven decision-making, world-class leadership, and a deep understanding of customer needs in the EdTech and cybersecurity space.
This is a strategic and tactical role—you’ll be setting direction and getting into the weeds, with a direct impact on company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the overall DTC sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue targets.
- Hire, develop, and lead a growing sales team
- Own forecasting, sales performance metrics, team quotas, and CRM hygiene.
- Partner closely with Marketing to align on lead generation, funnel optimization, and lifecycle conversion strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, including playbooks, scripts, training materials, and conversion tactics.
- Analyze customer behavior and feedback to refine messaging and product-market fit for the DTC audience.
- Implement scalable systems and processes to support a growing team and pipeline.
- Report on sales KPIs and insights to the executive team regularly.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on coaching, accountability, and mission-driven selling.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, including managing DTC or inside sales teams.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a high-velocity sales environment.
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or direct-to-consumer sales (cybersecurity or tech training preferred).
Deep understanding of customer acquisition funnels, B2C buying behavior, and sales performance metrics. - Proven experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and continuous learning.
