Job description
Thrive Tutoring is seeking experienced ISEE Prep tutors for families in the Nashville, Franklin, and Brentwood areas. This role involves preparing students for the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) through tailored instruction and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ISEE format, content areas, and effective teaching strategies to enhance student performance.

Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate promptly and professionally with Thrive team, students, and families
- Work with families to schedule tutoring sessions
- Travel to meet students in their home or at a local library/coffee shop
- Assess the baseline academic levels for students in order to create a tailored learning plan with goals, objectives, and metrics of success
- Develop and deliver high-impact ISEE prep lessons tailored to the needs of the student
- Provide parents with feedback and next steps after each tutoring sessions
- Develop and continuously update a student learning plan that outlines the student's big learning goals and objectives
Skills & Experience:
- At least two years of ISEE prep tutoring experience with demonstrated ability to drive student growth
- Highly dependable and responsible
- Self-starter, resourceful, and eager to work in a start-up environment
- Track record of leading others to results
- Exceptional academic background
- Able to demonstrate content knowledge
- Passion for and experience in working with students, particularly students with learning differences
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Natural ability to build rapport and develop relationships
- Empathetic and in tune with the needs of others
