Position summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for the function and performance of operations. Position will typically be responsible for establishing or contributing ideas for department processes, procedures, and protocols. The Director of Operations reports to and is employed by the Lead Advisor, Peter Kapler.
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
· Support Financial Advisors in preparation and follow up of client meetings
· Document client meetings, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
· Maintain physical and electronic files
· Promote the firm’s mission, culture and core values through day-to-day leadership and management
· Oversee core initiatives that help the firm enhance profitability and achieve business objectives
· Develop, execute, and oversee workflow, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures for practice
· Assist with strategy, development, and implementation of projects
· Serve as a strong culture advocate within the team by organizing and scheduling team activities
· Assist with marketing efforts for the practice to increase brand awareness and drive new business
· Work to maintain the production, scheduling, posting, and reporting of all marketing content and campaigns
· Provides back-up support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration for other staff members, as needed
· Organize and maintain printed marketing materials for mailings, distribution and version control
· Communicate effectively with other members of the team to accomplish tasks, projects, and serve clients
· Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor
Position Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of experience in an operations role
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of financial products used by the firm
· Thorough understanding of the technology used by the firm and how it applies to clients
· Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce)
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
