About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with complex revenue models.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Recognition : Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and GAAP.
- Month-End Close : Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports related to revenue.
- Billing & Contracts : Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to review customer contracts for proper revenue recognition treatment.
- Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing revenue-related reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Process Improvements : Identify opportunities to enhance revenue accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Audit Support : Work with external auditors to provide documentation and explanations during audits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless revenue reporting and compliance.
