Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, including hardware assembly, server testing, and cable management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality technical support to internal and external customers
- Assemble and test hardware to meet client specifications
- Run diagnostic suites on Dell, Sun, and HP servers
- Build servers using approved OS images
- Assist with equipment installation, racking, and cabling
- Test and terminate cables
- Support customer environment setup, equipment installation, and equipment moves
- Demonstrate proficiency with operations applications, including email and MS Office
- Monitor equipment and network systems for alarms and troubleshoot issues
- Provide security oversight and administration based on company standards
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to make decisions with strong processing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform job responsibilities
Estimated Salary Range: $19.91 - $29.87
