Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Associate PMO Analyst to join our team and assist in the coordination, management, and analysis of our IT portfolio of projects. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior PMO Analyst, Product Managers, and project teams to ensure successful execution of projects, adherence to our PMO Governance process and effective communication across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Support - Assist PMO team in maintaining and updating the project portfolio, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on critical project data.
- Project Coordination – Work with PMO Director to generate regular portfolio reports, highlighting key performance metrics, project health, financials, etc. to senior leadership.
- Contribute to the analysis of portfolio data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Risk Management - Participate in identifying and assessing project risks and issues across the project portfolio and escalating critical concerns to senior leaders for mitigation planning.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on project goals, status, and priorities.
- Assist in organizing portfolio review meetings and presentations, providing clear and concise updates on portfolio performance.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of portfolio management processes and methodologies.
- As a member of the Transformation Office, perform additional tasks as needed to advance our department goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field
- Strong interest in project management and portfolio management concepts
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- 0-2 years’ experience working with project management and/or in a PMO Organization
- Familiar with project management tools and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
Salary : $57,500 - $72,800
