POSITION TYPE: Part-time (20 hours per week)
LOCATION: Tiffin University, Tiffin, OH
Tiffin University is seeking a motivated and reliable Graduate Assistant (GA) to support library services and testing during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. This is a part-time position, offering valuable professional experience in a dynamic academic setting. The GA will be responsible for assisting with library tasks, supporting testing operations, and providing general support to staff and students as needed. It is a part-time position, and the GA will work 20 hours per week. The benefits of this position include a monthly stipend and 100% of tuition costs, class lab fees, and technology fees (does not include books). The Graduate Assistant MUST be admitted and enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours each semester towards a Master’s program at Tiffin University to be eligible and maintain eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of library desk activities.
- Provide support for testing and examination services, including monitoring, setting up, and assisting students with test-related queries.
- Maintain a welcoming and efficient environment for library patrons.
- Assist with general library operations, including circulation, shelving, and assisting students and faculty with library services.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be admitted and enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours each semester in a Master's program at Tiffin University.
- Maintain enrollment and good academic standing throughout the assistantship.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in business, human resources, education, or similar is required as well as enrollment in Tiffin University’s graduate program during the Graduate Assistant position. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic; professionally conduct themselves, work well autonomously and in a team environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience working in a library or customer service setting is a plus.
