GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Tiffin University seeks a Graduate Assistant to support the efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The position entails frequent phone, virtual, written, in-person, and e-mail correspondence with prospective students and their families; and evaluation of applicant files. This position may also help arrange campus visits, evaluate student ambassadors on the campus tour, and assist with student ambassador training. Willingness to work weekends and evenings is also required.

- Ability to work independently and meet position goals without undue supervision.
- Demonstrated success working as a member of a team.
- Ability to manage time, willingness to work evenings, and weekends to meet deadlines and deliver assignments.
- A positive attitude, a people-centric approach to work, and a good sense of humor are helpful.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES FOR THE JOB
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in business, human resources, education, or similar is required, as well as enrollment in Tiffin University’s graduate program during the Graduate Assistant position.
Other:
- Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic; professionally conduct themselves, work well autonomously and in a team environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
