Your Mission
Are you ready to elevate operations as our new Industrial Maintenance Specialist? You'll expertly coordinate and enhance maintenance efforts to maximize output and minimize setbacks, ensuring the continued excellence of our production equipment, facilities, and surroundings. Embrace a versatile role where assistance spreads across various tasks like becoming a Set-Up Mechanic, electrician, or machine operator/grinder.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Optimizing the condition of production equipment through routine inspections and lubrication.
- Verifying the functionality of safety systems to maintain a safe workspace.
- Conducting thorough overhauls and equipment rebuilding when required.
- Managing assembly, installation, testing, and upkeep of equipment with emphasis on electrical wiring.
- Restoring machine parts to operational status.
- Expertise in Power Panel Fabrication and hydraulic systems.
- Interpreting schematics for hydraulic systems with precision.
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment problems with speed.
- Examining electrical networks for safety breaches, defects, and regulation adherence.
- Advising leadership on impending risks and adjustment necessities.
- Flexibility to support production in various roles as required.
- Utilizing schematics and blueprints to comply with safety and building codes.
- Executing ground lead installations and power cable connections.
- Logging records, requisitioning supplies, and compiling necessary reports.
- Understanding PLC functions and logic.
- Daily checks on chillers and water-receiving equipment.
- Maximizing usage of materials and machinery.
- Training coworkers as necessary.
- Maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Keeping meticulous records and notifying supervisors of critical updates.
Qualifications We Seek
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Technical degree or a minimum of 2-3 years of equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in the maintenance field.
- Sound mechanical and electrical aptitude alongside numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
- Skilled in organization and time-management.
- Competent with electronic devices and tools.
- Capability with hand tools for minor repairs.
- Proven diagnostic skills.
- Adeptness at assimilating new information.
