Position Summary:
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. You will work closely with our Preconstruction team in all aspects of the estimating process to ensure project proposals and purchasing are complete and accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares construction material quantity take-offs and estimates for the Pre-Construction team for purposes of planning, organizing and scheduling of the project.
- Compiles bid forms including project specifications, alternates and project specific scopes of work.
- Subcontractor solicitation from project set up to tracking responses on invitations to bid.
- Bid tabulation and tracking of bid comparison sheet.
- Evaluate proposals and develop Guaranteed Maximum Price.
- Compile and track buyout through purchasing process.
- Communicate with design partners throughout Pre-Construction process.
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience as an estimator preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- General understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and materials.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, On-Screen Takeoff and other software necessary to perform job duties.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or equivalent years of professional experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
