Summary
Library Aides provide clerical and library support to building staff and maintain school records. This position will also assist in our school's MS PBS program and help monitor student grades, and oversee students who are taking online classes while sitting in the library.
They manage library media center resources and ensure students and faculty have access to those resources. They are responsible for the circulation of library books, media, and materials
cataloging of new items into the library software inventory of books, media, and materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
An individual who holds this position must:
Monitor circulation and check out books and tech resources
Provide support to teachers and students to access district resources
Greet library visitors
Oversee students taking online classes in the library
Assist with the middle school PBS program and help monitor student grades
Qualifications
Education
High school graduate
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations are not required.
Must successfully pass a background check
Keyboarding skills are required
