Summary of the Position:
The ZO. Ambassador is responsible for executing day-to-day operations throughout Rockefeller Center with an emphasis on fostering an exceptional member experience. The successful candidate will be hospitality-minded, skilled in building relationships, a true team player and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to do what is necessary to provide seamless services for our ZO. Members and to support the greater team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Hosting members in ZO. spaces throughout the day
  • Maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness in all ZO. Spaces
  • Setting up and breaking down events, including all wellness offerings
  • Liaise with sales, marketing & other Rock Center teams to ensure that events & activations are seamlessly executed
  • Collaborate with the property management, engineering, cleaning & security teams to guarantee a safe & pristine first-class amenity for guests
  • Daily email communications to various departments & tenants in Rockefeller Center
  • Compiling shift reports daily to communicate daily highlights and challenges
  • Disseminating info on daily events to greater Rockefeller Center lobby teams
  • Communicating to management team and resolving all service issues
  • Soliciting feedback from guests to improve their experience
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety and employment regulations and all standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean pantry area at all times
  • Prepare F&B items as required
  • Complete inventories & ensure proper pars are maintained
  • Adhere to daily checklists when opening and closing the F&B areas
  • Ensure that storage area and refrigerators are maintained, organized and up to hygienic standards
  • Work with vendors to ensure quality of product is up to standard
  • Must be able to obtain any licenses & certifications required for role
  • Other duties assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years previous experience in a luxury retail, restaurant, hotel or other exclusive membership amenity space is highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Superb communication and computational skills
  • Able to maintain excellent grooming & personal hygiene
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Adept at listening to guests, building relationships & anticipating needs
  • Able to read, speak and write the primary languages used in the workplace
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
  • Must be able to remain stationary as well as exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks
  • Must be able to work outdoors, under a variety of possible weather conditions
  • Early mornings, late evenings and work on holidays & weekends may be required
  • Must be minimum age to serve alcohol
The base compensation range for this role is $20.00 per hour - $21.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
