The Service Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction to assigned staff and implementing action plans to support the team. This role manages the overall execution and performance of the staff, ensuring that regional goals and objectives are met. Responsibilities include supervising employees to maintain schedules, oversee task order progress, manage contract execution, ensure timely data collection and invoicing, and support project cost tracking.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Staff Development:
- Supervise the performance of Data Coordinators and technical staff
- Provide technical expertise, leadership, and accountability for assigned personnel
- Establish goals and development plans for all direct reports
- Evaluate employee performance and support salary management in partnership with the Director of Operations and Vice President
Operational Management:
- Plan, organize, and manage daily activities for assigned teams
- Monitor schedule adherence, contract requirements, and cost estimate compliance
- Review and correct field data and time entries
- Ensure fair and effective performance measures are used to drive team motivation and goal achievement
Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise across departments for alignment and coordination
- Communicate management directives to staff and ensure compliance
- Work with construction, engineering, and third-party groups on task order closeouts
- Use electronic service tools for service delivery and productivity management
Customer Experience:
- Maintain strong customer communication to fulfill contractual obligations
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently
- Recognize and escalate issues outside of contract scope appropriately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Data Science or Business Administration preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data entry, service management, or a related field
- Experience with contract compliance for invoicing, timesheets, and data tracking
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Valid state-issued driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP
- Two or more years in a data entry supervisory role
- Familiarity with web-based service tools and systems
Salary & Benefits: $100,000-$120,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus discretionary year-end bonus, paid vacation and personal days, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and AD&D insurance, paid holidays, and 401(k) match.
