Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Titusville Area Hospital. In this role, you will support various HR functions and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. Your work will be vital in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that our staff has the resources they need.
Responsibilities
- Employee Data Management – maintaining accurate employee records, including personal details, employment documents, and time and attendance information within HR systems.
- Recruitment Support – posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer letters.
- Onboarding – paperwork processing, completing background checks, and setting up employee accounts.
- Benefits Administration – answering employee questions regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Compliance Management – maintaining compliance with employment laws, including data privacy and recordkeeping requirements
- Employee Relations – addressing basic employee concerns, and facilitating communication between employees and HR
- Administrative Tasks – handling general HR paperwork, filing, copying, and maintaining office supplies
Requirements
- Associate's Degree and previous office/clerical experience required
- Excellent Communication Skills – ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels
- Attention to Detail – meticulous accuracy in handling sensitive employee data and maintaining records
- Organizational Skills – ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain efficient workflows
- Computer Proficiency – familiarity with HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Confidentiality – maintaining discretion when handling confidential employee information
- Human Resources experience preferred
