The Analyst Consultant for the Pattan Autism Initiative is directly responsible to the Coordinator of the Pattan Autism Initiative, the Leadership Team of the Pattan Autism Initiative, and the TIU Executive Director for supervision and evaluation.
Fundamental Duties/Essential Functions
1. Provide on-site guided practice to teachers and other classroom staff within model autism classrooms.
2. Develop and implement statewide trainings for classroom staff, TSS and parents.
3. Review data systems and integrity of consultation implementation
4. Maintain and monitors visitation summaries as guided by Autism Initiative forms; develops and delivers advanced training materials to main consultant, teachers, and other site staff
5. Provide assistance with technical issues in behavior analysis including functional behavior assessments, analysis of instructional programs, and analysis of verbal behavior
6. Collaborate with main consultant/Internal Coach and Tactst in guiding site to implement criteria listed on Pattan Autism Initiative Site Review Form.
7. Conduct competency reviews for assigned staff including main consultant and internal coach
8. Calibrate assessment procedures using inter observer agreement procedures
9. Maintain records site consultations
10. Develop and present internal trainings.
11. Assist in the supervision of consultants.
12. Provide training and guided practice on the administration of VB Mapp Assessment /or other assessments
13. Participate in training opportunities and staff meetings relative to the duties of the position.
14. Represent the Autism Initiative in the education community as needed.
15. Travel locally and statewide as a part of work scope in order to support IU’s and school districts and to participate in trainings.
16. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Pattan Autism Initiative Leadership Team, Program Director, or Executive Director.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Knowledge of the Pennsylvania Early Intervention Services System Act of 1990, the
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Chapter 14 of the School Code and relevant department bulletins and Basic Education Circulars.
2. Ability to transport and use any audio visual equipment and materials to perform the job required to accomplish essential functions.
3. Knowledge of the Bureau of Special Education System.
4. Ability to orally communicate effectively in English with others in all levels of group and individual contacts.
5. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, using the English language, including computer based communication using e-mail, word processing and data base systems
6. Ability to work with a variety of individuals in teams, both as a leader and as a participant, who are geographically dispensed.
7. Ability to work well and cooperate with related professional and departmental staff.
This includes demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
8. Knowledge of instructing/presenting to various audiences using adult learning strategies.
9. Ability to present oneself in a professional manner to include personal appearance and a pleasant demeanor to others.
10. Ability to provide personal, reliable vehicle for own travel requirements.
Qualification Standards
1. Education: Possess a Masters Degree in psychology or related field and BCBA certified.
2. Experience: Have a minimum of four years of experience working with children with autism in a clinical setting, preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
